As a Resident Transport Driver, you are often the first and last face a resident sees on one of their most important days — a medical appointment, a procedure, a follow-up visit. About the Role
The Resident Transport Driver is responsible for safely transporting residents to and from medical appointments in our wheelchair van and bus. This is a daytime role — primarily 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM with hours that may fluctuate based on scheduling needs. When not on transport runs, you may assist the maintenance team with light facility tasks including painting and general upkeep.
Qualifications
Required:
• Valid Michigan Chauffeur's License — must have prior to first day
• Clean driving record — MVR check required
• Genuine warmth and patience when working with older adults
• Dependable, punctual, and professional
Preferred:
• Experience transporting or working with older adults or individuals with disabilities
• Experience operating wheelchair vans or passenger buses
• Light maintenance experience
• Painting experience
